Pokemon Worlds San Fransico 2026 Round Up
Pokemon Worlds 2026 comes to an end and as always, they dropped some hot sauce right onto all of us, because why not!
Pokemon collectors around the world were already whipped up into a frenzy with the long anticipated release of the 30th Celebration collections.
On top of that, we are only 4 weeks removed from the release of Storm Emerlada, which despite the upheaval with prices coming out of Japan, was actually a way bigger hit than a lot of us expected!
Wait, there's more! ALSO, we received news that our end of year High Class release was going to drop in February in the form of a briefly mentioned set called Mega X Mega, footed by the recently developed Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y. Presumably being released a little later than usual because of the 30th release spanning 2 months and... oh yeah, another release.. Did we not mention that one yet?: Aura Seeker which is due out in November featuring Mega Lucario Z.
Safe to say by Christmas, our heads will be spinning!
Ok, so thats where we are currently, and we haven't even mentioned most of what was announced at Worlds!
One announcement in particular, with very few details to fuel speculation, is the introduction of the new ex★ series.
It is thought that the Mega X Mega High Class set will end the current Mega Evolution series with the new ex★ series starting in the Spring of 2027.
Very little is known at this point other than, it is likely to be fronted by Entei, Suicune and Raikou. Some avid collectors are speculating that we could see shinning Pokemon or a return of Gold Star cards... But this is the fun part, the guessing! So place your bets now Pokemon fans!
