Pokemon Auction Watch
Welcome to our watch series where we follow the latest, biggest and news breaking auctions from around the world!
We will be showcasing high end Pokemon auctions from the likes of Goldin, Heritage Auctions and PWCC Marketplace (to name just a few). We we also feature eBay auction to show the current pace of the secondary market for us collectors who aren't shelling out millions!
First up is this 2025 icon in nothing less than a Beckett Black Label, which we all know is the creme de la creme of the graded trading card world!
2025 Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Prismatic Evolutions SIR #161 Umbreon ex - BGS PRISTINE/Black Label 10
- Auctioned by: Goldin
- Auction Ends: Monday 10th August
- Current Bid: $22,500 *as of 23rd July
- Black Label POP: 8
Next up is actually one of our very own and a record breaking Japanese sale... This one was hard to let go! A full PSA 10 Master set for the Japanese Pokemon Base Set PLUS a PSA 10 Booster Pack to match!
Next up is a super new addition to the Pokemon world and it is no doubt the first of many! The Red RGB Mew from 30th Celebration in a PSA 10 at the time of creating this post this was a POP 1 card fetching a whopping $6,700 at auction. This pales in comparison to a raw card that only a week prior supposedly fetched $20,000 so careful on that release day depreciation Pokemon collectors!
So now we go from that brand spanking new to the 25 year old, practically ancient, 2001 NEO 4 Shining Charizard which breaks another record as the most expensive shining Pokemon ever to be sold at an eye watering $390,000... No that is not a typo!
