Let’s start by saying; if this isn’t a sparkly taste of the good old days, we don’t know what is!

We’re in the latter stages of 2023, so after 27 years of Pokémon even the most casual of player/collector is familiar with the old base set originals and even those younger Pokémon trainers out there will have experienced the 25th anniversary/Celebrations edition Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur.

This new classic collection is an absolute lip service to fans and players and we are ALL for it! Although as one of the most expensive products to come out of Pokémon Co at RRP, did they take a chance putting this out?

Well I think given Pokémon’s explosive success over the last handful of years, you’d likely assume that they know their customer base fairly well and will no doubt have absolutely zero problem moving this product through distribution, to your favourite retailers and into population.

Note: please do be careful out there! This product will no doubt be subject to a unnerving amount of scalping a pre order scams through eBay and other online market places, so please stick to your trusted retailers and sellers and do NOT part with your money on empty promises!

As ever, this beauty will come with an English language alternative but we maintain that the Japanese have the edge on styling for sure but the utter nostalgia of the English decks are undeniable, lets take a look at the big 3 in English!

This wonderful Japanese box of wonder will release any day now in mid to late November.
